Join us for “Story Time with Brother Al”

Start the afternoon with a tasty lunch of two kinds of chili – white chicken chili and classic beef chili, along with corn bread, salad and pumpkin roll for dessert, coffee and soft drinks..
We will then welcome Brother Al, a Franciscan Friar, minstrel, singer, songwriter and playwright. He has been ministering with the Archdiocese of Detroit for close to 20 years in a variety of ways. He has dedicated his life to serving the poor while sharing the joy of God’s love through music and storytelling. We will be blessed to hear stories from his life along with some highlights from his one-friar musical, “More Love Than Skill: A Saint and His Fiddle,” the story of Blessed Solanus Casey.
