Planning for our parish festival has begun, and we are looking forward to another great weekend filled with faith, fellowship and fun. Volunteering at the festival is a great way to get to know new people, deepen your bonds to our parish and support a good cause all at once! There are many areas where you can help out based on your interests, talents and schedule.

From supporting our ever-popular food and drink booths, to reaching your daily step count with our strolling hourly 50/50 and $12,000 grand ticket raffles, to selling the drink, food and game tickets that keep our festival running smoothly- we are sure to have an area that will fit your time and talents.

Like to work behind the scenes? Join our construction crew to help with set up and take down before or after the festival. Enjoy games of chance? Our Carnival/Big Game tent has options for kids of all ages. The Bingo and Casino rooms are always popular and need workers to keep the fun rolling. Help is welcome in all areas!

Themed Baskets

We are collecting baskets for the Festival Booth, and want to encourage you to think about creating a themed basket for our game of chance under the big tent.

Baskets, which parishioners create around a theme of their choice, go home with the winners of our game. It is a popular spot, and we want to make sure we have enough baskets to satisfy the women, children and men who stop by. The ideas are endless for a basket theme, and here are just a few ideas: Summertime fun, movie night, baby, game night, sports, spiritual enrichment, candles, wine, coffee, gardening, family activities, golf, holiday, scrapbooking. As an example, the sports basket mayinclude golf balls, towel, tees, a certificate to a local course. The movie basket may include boxes of theater candy, popcorn, theater gift certificates.

The festival in June 5 – 7 and we will accept baskets until festival time. Perhaps you can’t make a basket, but have a basket around the house that someone else could use. Please bring it to Mass with you and leave it on the table in the Narthex. If you are in need of a basket to fill stop by and pick one up.

Used Book Donation

Our beloved Festival Book Sale is right around the corner, and we’re beginning to collect donations! Each year, thanks to the generosity of our parishioners and friends, we’re able to offer hundreds of gently used books for all ages — and we’d love your help stocking the booth again.

We gladly accept:

  • Adult and children’s books
  • Fiction, nonfiction, classics, cookbooks, spiritual books
  • Puzzles for all ages

Your donated items help make this booth a favorite stop for families, readers, and treasure‑hunters — and all proceeds support our parish community. Thank you for sharing your shelves, spreading the joy of reading, and helping us prepare for another great festival season.

Gift Card Booth

The parish festival is fast approaching, and the Gift Card Booth needs your help. We are collecting gift cards that will be used as prizes at the booth. All ages play the game so be creative with the type of gift cards you donate!

Restaurants, shopping, gas, groceries…it’s up to you! Any amount is appreciated, but we ask for a minimum of $5 on the card.

Please turn your gift card donations in to the rectory marked Festival Gift Card Booth.

Your help to make this booth a success again this year is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Wheels of Fun

Get your motor running! The race is on to the Parish Festival, and we are calling you to join the “Wheels of Fun” pit crew. This is your opportunity to become part of the excitement and help make this year’s festival a memorable event for everyone involved. If you are looking for a way to support the festival, consider fueling this booth with a monetary donation.

Your generous contributions will help defer the cost of prizes for “Dinners on the Town,” the “Wheel Barrel of Cheer,” and other surprise raffles filled with fun!

Donation envelopes are available in the Narthex, or you can use your own envelope and simply mark it “Wheels of Fun” Raffle Booth. No matter the amount, any donation is truly appreciated and contributes directly to the success of our festival activities. Please return your envelope to the offertory basket or bring it to the parish office.

Thank you for your support, and don’t forget to make a “pit stop” at the “Wheels of Fun” Raffle Booth during the festival!

Join the excitement at the Cabrini Monarch 5K on June 6, 2026—featuring a 1‑Mile Fun Run, a competitive 5K, and a course that winds through the heart of the Cabrini campus. All proceeds support Cabrini School and CHS Track & Cross Country.
