Our Family of Parishes invites all adults to a series of outdoor formation and fellowship on designated Tuesdays of the month at St. Frances Cabrini in the Courtyard of the Holy Family Hall. Throughout the summer we’ll have opportunities for you to come and learn more about many rich aspects of our Catholic faith.
Our first topic will be “Anxiety & Depression: Getting Help and Giving Help” with special guest speaker Dr. Agnes Ward, PhD, LP, CAADC, BCBA, LBA, a Catholic Psychologist and author, in an important, compassionate conversation about something many of us face; feelings of sadness or worry. She will explore the signs and symptoms of depression and anxiety and provide tools to help identify these difficult emotions; how they show up in our daily lives and how to cope. Whether you are experiencing these feelings yourself or supporting someone you care about, you’ll walk away with strategies you can start using right away and resources to give you guidance, ideas and support to continue the conversation.
Attendees will receive a St. Dymphna medal, patron saint of mental health.
You won’t want to miss any of these! Drinks and snacks will be served.
