It’s back to school time! We are collecting backpacks and school supplies for Core City Neighborhoods located in Detroit. They will be passing out school supplies to the children in the neighborhood and to local struggling schools.
The collection is going now through the end of the month.
Suggested items: Backpacks, 8 count Crayola washable markers, 24 box of Crayola crayons, Crayola colored pencils – box of 24, Crayola colored markers – box of 12, Elmer’s glue sticks and bottles, Pens and Pencils, Pencil case, Tissues, Scissors – blunt tip, Chunky pink erasers, Pocket folders, Composition Notebooks, Spiral Notebooks, Highlighters, Wide ruled loose-leaf paper, Ruler, Index cards, 1.5 inch three ring binders.
Gift cards help with the requests for school clothes and shoes.
