Sr. Modesta Award Winners

Sister Modesta served Cabrini High School from 1961 through 1990 as an English teacher, Department Chairperson, and Academic Advisor.  She gave 100% of herself and asked no less of others.  During the 1995-1996 school year Cabrini High School, to honor the memory of Sister Modesta, initiated an annual student commendation called the Sister Modesta Spirit of Cabrini Award.  This award recognizes one young lady and one young man from each class at CHS.  These students strongly represent what the school is about – spiritual formation, academics, leadership, extra-curricular involvement, and volunteerism.  They personify the qualities of excellence, dedication, integrity and loyalty that so typified the example set by Sister Modesta.  Each spring the school staff nominates and selects the recipients. For the 2016-17 school year, the following won the award.  Congratulations!
