In a similar manner as we do our Fall Blessing Bags in October, we are asking you to take one of the provided gallon size zip-lock bags and fill it with needed hygiene items for our “Lenten Blessing Bags”.
During these cold months of winter, these essential items are needed more than ever.
These travel size items include: soap, lotion, powder, shampoo, toothpaste, along with a toothbrush, razor, shaving cream, washcloth, Chap Stick, and deodorant. We ask that you please stick to the items listed on the bags. If you would like to donate other items separately socks, t-shirts and feminine hygiene products are always necessary.
Zip-lock bags will be available at each door of the church starting on Ash Wednesday. Filled bags can be dropped off at any time to the large black garbage bin found in the Narthex through March 20. They will be sorted on Saturday, March 21 during our “Lenten Parish Service Day” from 9:00am-12:00pm in the Holy Family Hall.
