Tuesday Travelers has added a couple of new outings to its itinerary – consider joining us on these bus trips as we explore points of interest throughout southeast Michigan, and beyond.
April 17 – Turkey buffet lunch and the stage show, “The Old Rugged Cross” at Turkeyville in Marshall. Cost: $76 pp; bus leaves at 9:30 a.m. and returns at 6:30 p.m.
May 29/30 – Overnight trip to Kentucky, visiting the Ark Encounter, a life-size recreation of Noah’s vessel, the Creation Museum and the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption. Cost: $277 pp (double room occupancy) includes dinner at the Greyhound Tavern; coffee and breakfast snacks at 6:45 a.m.
May 29, with departure at 7:15 a.m. July 17 – Quilt Gardens will be in full bloom in northern Indiana – we’ll view the breathtaking floral planings and shop at the Barn Door Quilt Garden, the Krider World’s Fair Garden, Rise ‘n Roll Bakery and Yoder Department Store, and have lunch at Das Dutchmen Essenhaus. Cost: $81 pp; coffee and breakfast snacks at 7 a.m. with departure at 7:30 a.m. and returns at 7:30 p.m.
August 21 – Our destination is the Ausable River in Oscoda for a two-hour cruise aboard the River Queen paddleboat, with a stop at Wilson’s Cheese Shoppe in Pinconning and the Tawas Bay Beach Resort for lunch.
